The 20-year-old, who is on England U21 duty, scored a brilliant free-kick with his weaker left foot.
When Jones posted the goal on his Instagram, and bragged about it, Adrian reacted with a one-word response, ‘ouch’, whilst Oxlade-Chamberlain commented ‘Yeah fair play’ and Rhys Williams simply just said ‘wow’.
It has been some rise for Jones during these past few years and he is someone who is going to be the future of Liverpool’s midfield.
That long-range effort against Everton in the FA Cup will be remembered by Liverpool fans for a long while.
And it just goes to show the talent he has in his boots because he could become a goalscoring midfielder in the long run.
Jones just needs to look at someone like Trent Alexander-Arnold and how he has risen from the Anfield academy.
Working under Jurgen Klopp and his coaches has done him the world of good.
And there’s no doubt that Jones can be the next one to become that regular.
