Tottenham Hotspur just aren’t going to be allowed forget about Noni Madueke.
The teenager quit Tottenham almost four years ago in search of first-team football on a regular basis.
Madueke even rejected Manchester United and joined PSV Eindhoven in the belief that’s where he could build his reputation as a star for the future.
And what a decision that has proven because, well, the 19-year-old has done exactly that.
Madueke, who came through Spurs’ academy, has been named as the 19th most exciting teenager in world football.
Four Four Two compiled the list and even placed him one spot higher than Arsenal’s Charlie Patino, who finished 20th.
The Londoner, who has been linked with a £40 million return to North London, has seven goals and two assists from 19 senior outings for the Eredivisie outfit this season.
A jet-heeled winger with ‘otherworldly trickery’ – according to Four Four Two – Madueke is going to haunt Tottenham supporters for many-a-year, due to the fact that the Lilywhites were unable to keep hold of him.
He seems certain to command a big-money transfer to somebody over the coming years and from there, he’s probably only going to get drastically better.
Remember, the kid is still only 19, hence why he is eligible for this list, and it’s fascinating to see how his career takes shape.
