Tottenham Hotspur maintained their good run of form in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The North London outfit got the better of Burnley 2-0 away from home at Turf Moor.

After a goalless first half, Eric Dier put Spurs midway through the second period, and Son Heung-min added a second on 77 minutes.

The performance of Tottenham against Burnley was quite encouraging, and the win has given them a small chance of catching Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.

Chelsea suffered a surprise 2-1 to defeat to London rivals Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

This means that Antonio Conte’s side are now only seven points clear of second-placed Tottenham in second place.

Former Tottenham star Osvaldo Ardiles was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Ex-Spurs chairman Lord Sugar was also pleased with the final result, but he was surprised with the defeat suffered by Chelsea against Palace.
