Tottenham Hotspur needed a stoppage-time winner to secure the three points in their latest Premier League clash.

Ossie Ardiles has taken to Twitter to laud Spurs for the way they followed up their brilliant performance in the Champions League in midweek by claiming a dramatic victory in their latest Premier League clash.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were rightly lauded as they came away from the Nou Camp with a point that ensured that they reached the knockout stages of the competition.
Their performance led to a number of plaudits. But some may have feared that their superb display may have left them slightly complacent when Burnley travelled to Wembley this weekend.
The Clarets made it difficult for Spurs, but Christian Eriksen ensured that they would get the three points with a stoppage-time winner to hand Pochettino his 100th Premier League win with Tottenham.

Despite only just getting across the line, Ardiles was full of praise for Spurs’ performance. He felt that it was an important achievement to come back from Tuesday’s heroics and bag a win that keeps their momentum going.
He also suggested that he could not understand how Joe Hart avoided a booking during the game, seemingly for taking his time on several occasions as Burnley looked to hold on and secure a share of the points.
