Tottenham Hotspur racked up another win this afternoon as they hammered Everton 6-2 at Goodison Park to continue their fine recent form.

Spurs went into the game having won three Premier League games in a row, and were looking to add another against Marco Silva’s Everton side.

It didn’t start particularly well for Spurs as Theo Walcott opened the scoring, but goals from Son Heung-min, Dele Alli and Harry Kane all found the net before the break to make it 3-1.

Christian Eriksen added a fine fourth, and whilst Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled one back for Everton, Son and Kane grabbed another each to seal a stunning 6-2 win.

It was the perfect away display from Spurs, but one minor concern will be over midfielder Alli being substituted at half time for Erik Lamela.

With Bournemouth to come on Wednesday, Alli was substituted having picked up an injury in a clash with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, which will be of concern for all at Spurs.

After the game, Spurs legend and former manager Ossie Ardiles suggested that Pickford should have been sent off for a horrible and unnecessary challenge, adding that he hopes Pickford apologised to his England teammate.
