Tottenham Hotspur lost 1-0 at Bournemouth on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Ossie Ardiles has taken to Twitter to share his disappointment at Son Heung-min’s red card against Bournemouth.
After 1-0 home defeats to West Ham United and Ajax within a matter of days, Spurs travelled to the South Coast to take on Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
Sadly for Spurs, they ended up losing 1-0 yet again, with Nathan Ake pouncing to score a late winner for the Cherries against a nine-man Tottenham side.
Son Heung-min had been sent off in the first half for a clash with Jefferson Lerma, before defender Juan Foyth was given a straight red card just 125 seconds after coming on as a half time substitute.
That lack of discipline has been slammed in recent days, but Spurs hero Ardiles has taken a slightly different take on the matter on Twitter.

The Argentinian suggested that the referee made a mistake and that Son should have only been booked, claiming that turning around and pushing Jefferson Lerma wasn’t violent conduct.
Ardiles feels that Lerma is the ‘bad guy’ having punched Son in the back to prompt the response, blasting the referee for only booking the combative Colombian late on – but urged the fans to stick with the team through a difficult spell.
