Tottenham ended their Premier League season with a 7-1 win over Hull City on Sunday afternoon.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Tottenham legend Ossie Ardiles has taken to Twitter to praise Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino and star striker Harry Kane.
Spurs ended their Premier League season with a 7-1 victory away at Hull City, with goalscoring sensation Kane grabbing a hat-trick – his seventh goal in four days after smashing four goals against Leicester City on Thursday.
Dele Alli, Victor Wanyama, Ben Davies and Toby Alderweireld also found the net for Spurs, with Sam Clucas bagging what proved to be a consolation for the already-relegated Tigers.
Tottenham finished up their campaign in second place on 86 points, another superb season for Mauricio Pochettino, though it will be tinged by now winning a trophy.

The stats show just how impressive Tottenham have been though; Spurs have scored the most goals, conceded the fewest goals, and lost the fewest number of games this season, whilst also having the Premier League’s top goalscorer.
Kane, 23, finished with 29 goals in 30 appearances this term, retaining his Golden Boot award despite missing eight games this season through two separate ankle injuries.
Ossie Ardiles
Kane will not only be eyeing up Jimmy Greaves’ league and total goal records for Tottenham over the coming years, but also Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record – and Spurs hero Ossie Ardiles has taken to Twitter to claim that Kane is already a legend.
Ardiles added a message for compatriot and Spurs manager Pochettino, congratulating him on the second-placed finish whilst hailing the team and manager for their work over the course of the season.
