Ossie Ardiles was mightily impressed by Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium.

Ossie Ardiles was one of many Tottenham Hotspur affiliates in attendance on Sunday as Spurs opened their new stadium.
Some 30,000 fans turned up to watch Tottenham’s Under-18s in action against Southampton in the first competitive game at the magnificent arena.
Lilywhites youngster J’Neil Bennett christened the stadium by scoring its first-ever goal.
It was the first of two test events, the second of which will require an attendance of 45,000. It will take place on Saturday when Spurs Legend meet Inter Milan.
Speaking of club legends, Ardiles watched the North Londoners’ youth side in action yesterday, and the iconic Argentine was blown away by the ground.
If all goes to plan, Tottenham’s first Premier League game at their new home will come against Crystal Palace on Wednesday week.
According to BBC Sport, it has set the club back a cool £1 billion, and is over six months late to open.
