Deadline day is upon us and Leeds United have some work to do.
Despite spending close to £100m last summer, the Whites have only made two senior additions this time around, with Junior Firpo and Kristoffer Klaesson heading to Elland Road.
However, as we all know, anything can happen on deadline day, just look at last year when the Whites shocked us all with the last-minute signing of Raphinha, and we all know how that one turned out.
With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting how Leeds could line up after the transfer window closes.

We think there will be one addition to the starting XI here, with Daniel James coming in from Manchester United.
It’s been widely reported that a deal to sign the Welshman is close for €28m (£25m), and we can’t see Leeds spending that much on a player unless he’s going to be a starter.
We all know that Victor Orta is a big fan of James, having almost signed him back in 2019, and this time it seems as though he’ll get his man.
So, how does he fit into the squad? Well, we think there’s a chance Raphinha could move into the number 10 role we’ve seen Rodrigo play in recent times.
We also wouldn’t write off the possibility of a new defensive midfielder coming in to act as a back-up to Kalvin Phillips, but it’s incredibly unlikely that anyone would be able to usurp the England international in the XI.
