Jose Enrique says ‘not a chance’ Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will secure a transfer for PSG forward Kylian Mbappe amid recent rumours.

The former left-back claimed on his Instagram story that if Kylian Mbappe were to leave PSG for the Premier League, then he would join Manchester City.

Next summer, the 24-year-old is set to be a free transfer and it has been suggested that Arsenal are going to plot a move for the player.

When the France international does leave Paris, then many are expecting one of the world’s best forwards to join Real Madrid.

Mbappe has supported the Spanish giants since he was a young kid, including admiring Cristiano Ronaldo, who is perhaps the greatest player in the club’s history.

But when rumours that Arsenal could push to sign him came up on the radar, it was swatted away by Enrique.

“Not a chance,” said Enrique. “He is going to Real Madrid or Barcelona if they have the money. Or Manchester City. I don’t see any other clubs signing him.”

Mbappe destined for the Premier League

The Premier League has the money to lure players like Mbappe to England, but you simply just can’t see it happening.

He just seems destined for Real Madrid, whether it’s this summer or in 12 months when they can get him for nothing.

Yes, there is a lot of noise around Mbappe, again, at PSG. But it wouldn’t be a surprise if he stays on and then goes for nothing to Madrid in 12 months, although, never say never in these scenarios, as anything could happen, especially late in the summer transfer window.
