Should Celtic renew interest in Dani Gomez?

Could Celtic find a potential replacement for Moussa Dembele in Real Madrid talent Dani Gomez?
The Sun reported last summer that Celtic were plotting a £3 million swoop for the striker.
Now his situation at the club might have reached a point of no return, according to Marca.
Gomez scored 32 goals for Madrid’s youth side last season and begun this campaign in prolific form, but his refusal to sign a new contract is seeing him punished.

He has been axed from Real Madrid Castilla’s side for the last five matches, and is not likely to be picked until he re-commits to a new deal.
This is despite Gomez scoring seven goals in five UEFA Youth League games earlier in the campaign, and featuring for the first team on Real’s first team tour in pre-season last summer.
The door is potentially open for Celtic to move on the striker, especially if they receive a big fee for Moussa Dembele.
Gomez could turn out to be a real coup, and the fact Celtic had their eye on him last summer is an encouraging sign.
