Rangers have a new manager now, but the Gers are still going as strong as ever.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has taken over from Steven Gerrard, and Rangers are winning matches and playing good football under him.

However, there are some Rangers players who are simply unable to make an impact even under GvB.

And we think that Rangers should severe ties with them.

Below are two Rangers players we think the Ibrox club should move on.

Robby McCrorie

Robby McCrorie is only 23 years of age and is very promising, but the goalkeeper is not playing at all for Rangers.

Allan McGregor is the first-choice goalkeeper for Rangers, and until and unless that changes, we do not see any way for McCrorie to get an extended run in the team.

The 23-year-old is too good to warm the bench, and, in our opinion, the Scotsman should look to move on if they do not plan to use him in the coming weeks.

Now, of course, we know that McCrorie is very highly rated, but if Rangers do not play him, then his value will drop.

Rangers should be open to offers for McCrorie and cash in on the Scottish goalkeeper.

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - NOVEMBER 08: Brandon Barker of Rangers celebrates after scoring his sides sixth goal during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Hamilton Academical at Ibrox Stadium on November 08, 2020 in Glasgow, Scotland. Brandon Barker

Brandon Barker has been at Rangers since 2019, but the winger has failed to establish himself in the first team.

Barker is 25 now and is not a young player any more.

The former England Under-20 international had a loan spell at Oxford United last season.

We do not think that Barker will be able to make a huge impact at Rangers in the future.

So, in our opinion, the defending Scottish Premiership champions should look to move Barker on in 2022.
