Spurs have been linked with the two Rossoneri players – whose club has been banned from Europe for 2019-20 – in recent weeks.
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with two players from AC Milan in recent months and an interesting development regarding the Italian side could play in Spurs’ favour.

Admittedly he did not have the best display in the U21s European Championship game against Poland but his club scoring record is decent (Transfermarkt) and if anyone can take players to the next level, it is Mauricio Pochettino and his coaching setup.
Likewise, Calciomercato has claimed that Milan winger Suso – formerly of Liverpool – is on the Lilywhites’ radar, along with that of Arsenal and West Ham, and with eight goals and nine assists in 41 appearances in all competitions last term, the 25-year-old is clearly a talented player.
Now, to say Milan have fallen from grace in recent years is an understatement, their rich history, tradition and status as one of the most glamorous football clubs in the world tempered by the fact they’ve been far from impressive in Serie A over the past few seasons.
It has now been confirmed that the Rossoneri have been banned from participating in any of UEFA’s European club competitions next season for failing to comply to UEFA spending regulations in the period between 2015 and 2018, thus ruling them out of the 2019-20 Europa League (Sky Sports).
With yet another setback befalling Milan, could some of their more highly rated players decide that enough is enough, and push for a move away?
