Everton should consider a move for the Sevilla ace this summer.

Marco Silva the head coach

Everton boss Marco Silva will be looking to bolster his attacking options this summer, with the signing of an established centre-forward surely a high priority for the Portuguese.

With this in mind, the Toffees should consider a move for Sevilla hitman Wissam Ben Yedder.

The 28-year-old has been in excellent form in Spain this season, racking up 29 goals and 10 assists in 51 appearances in all competitions.

He is proven at playing at the very highest level for a sustained period of time, and he would undoubtedly help take Everton to another level.

Cenk Tosun has simply not produced the goods for the Merseyside outfit, since moving to Goodison Park from Besiktas for £27 million in January 2018, and Silva will surely be looking to move the Turkey international on the summer.

And Ben Yedder would be a massive upgrade on the 27-year-old flop.

The Frenchman possesses pace in abundance, is an excellent finisher, and has the ability to stretch the opposition’s defence with tireless runs into the channels.

Ben Yedder has a €30 million (£25.8 million) release clause inserted into his current contract with Sevilla, according to a report from Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, and in today’s day and age, that would represent excellent value for money for Everton.

And Silva must do all he can to bring the red-hot hitman to Goodison Park this summer.
