He has adapted to life in Scotland with ease and played a key role in Dundee United’s promotion from the Championship last year under former boss Robbie Neilson.
The 6ft 4inc ‘keeper has since kept his place between the sticks under Micky Mellon and now Tam Courts.
He has also played for the likes of Aston Villa, Burton Albion, Cambridge United, Solihull Moors and Wycombe Wanderers and has got plenty of experience under his belt.
Celtic need a proven number two
Celtic need a number two who is proven in the Scottish Premiership in case Hart gets injured and Siegrist fits the bill.
It is a long old season with European and cup games mixed in and Postecoglou needs someone like him who he can trust if called upon.
Siegrist has proven himself at Dundee United and the Hoops should swoop in fast before anyone else does to ensure they are well stocked up in goal.
