The Sun have reported that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is planning to push for the Premier League title next season.

According to The Sun, Tottenham boss Conte is keen on signing a left-sided centre-back in the summer transfer window.
The report claims that the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss is preparing for the UEFA Champions League next season as well as for ‘a genuine title push’.
“A left-sided centre half is seen as a key addition to the squad as the Italian plots for the extra demands of Champions League football and a genuine title push next season,” states the report in The Sun.

Tottenham have been very active in the summer transfer window already.
Mali international midfielder Yves Bissouma, winger/wing-back Ivan Perisic and goalkeeper Fraser Forster have moved to Spurs this summer so far.
Now, we know that Manchester City and Liverpool are the two best teams in the Premier League at the moment.
Some would say that Chelsea are best placed to challenge the Citizens and the Reds for the title.
Not many Tottenham fans will actually expect their team to compete for the title next season, but The Sun’s report suggests that Conte has other plans.
Tottenham came close to winning the Premier League title when Mauricio Pochettino was the head coach.
