Declan Rice wants to join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal despite interest from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, according to a report.
Football Transfers have reported that Arsenal and Manchester City are interested in signing Declan Rice from Premier League rivals West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Arsenal have already personal terms with Rice, “who is pushing to complete a move to the Gunners”.
City are keen on the 24-year-old as well, and the treble-winners have told Rice’s camp that they will make a bid only if he wants to join them over Arsenal.
“Those assurances have not been given as of yet, with the belief that the England midfielder only wants Arsenal,” adds Football Transfers.

Exciting Declan Rice update for Arsenal
In our opinion, that Declan Rice wants to join Arsenal and only Arsenal is great news for the fans.
Manchester City won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season.
And they are a big club.
And they have Pep Guardiola as their manager.
Yet, Rice wants to join Arsenal.
That tells a lot about the club and where they are heading under manager Mikel Arteta.
