Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the busiest clubs in England this summer, and their business may not be over yet.
Indeed, Spurs still have a few areas in their squad to plug, most notably in the defence, but there could also be another attacking addition on the horizon.
Tottenham remain keen on a move for Anthony Gordon, and while such a switch seems unlikely this summer, it’s fair to say that the north London club are fans of the Everton youngster.
Another who is a fan of Gordon is former Spurs star Glenn Hoddle, who has previously gone on the record to discuss the young Toffees star.
What’s been said?
Hoddle discussed Gordon on Optus Sport earlier this year.
“Gordon has been excellent. He’s a find, he’s only going to get better. Where he will be in two or three years’ time will be very interesting,” Hoddle said.

Imagine him under Conte
Hoddle believes that Gordon is only going to get better, and we can’t help but imagine how high his ceiling would be under Antonio Conte.
Conte is one of the best coaches on the planet, and he could mould this youngster into literally anything.
Gordon has all of the attributes to be a deadly attacker in Conte’s system, while with a bit of training, he could also be a world class wing-back under the Italian.
Whether or not Spurs manage to get Gordon remains to be seen, but the idea of the youngster playing for Tottenham is certainly a mouth-watering prospect.
