Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Jack Grealish will not play for Aston Villa.
Tottenham will take on Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
The Birmingham Mail has reported that Villa attacking midfielder Grealish will miss the game due to injury.
The England international suffered a shin problem in training a month ago, and Villa manager Dean Smith said in the build-up to the game that the 25-year-old could be available.
However, it has been reported that the 25-year-old will not be in action against Spurs and is targeting a return after the international break against Fulham.
Grealish is one of the better attacking midfielders in the Premier League, and without him, Villa are less potent in attack.
According to WhoScored, Grealish has scored six goals and provided 10 assists in 22 Premier League games for Villa so far this season.
While Tottenham will feel relieved that the Englishman will not play tonight, some fans of the North London club do not think that it will make any difference as they expect Jose Mourinho’s side to lose anyway, as shown below.
Spurs lost to Arsenal in the North London derby last weekend and were knocked out of the Europa League by Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday evening.
