The Danish international is apparently set to make a move to Beijing Guoan this week.
Nicklas Bendtner of Denmark looks on
It is nearly a year now since Nottingham Forest cut their losses on Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner. His spell at the club was ravaged by injury and in the end his departure seemed inevitable for a controversial figure.
But, according to reports in Norway and China, it seems that Bendtner has come good over the past 12 months.
TV2 is reporting that his club Rosenborg have accepted an offer from Chinese side Beijing Guoan and the player is now in talks about a money-spinning move to the Chinese Super League.

The transfer window for China shuts today but it seems that a deal is looking very likely. Bendtner will partner Cedric Bakambu up front, who made a big-money move from Villarreal earlier in the month.
It is quite the turnaround for Bendtner, but he has earned it with his excellent displays in Norway for Rosenborg over the past year.

The Dane scored just twice in 17 games after joining Forest in September 2016, and was released from his deal at the club in March.
Now it seems he is set for a bumper payday and a chance to prove himself in another new country.
