Dani Ceballos has labelled Tottenham Hotspur transfer target, Gareth Bale, ‘the best’ on the player’s Instagram.
The Spanish midfielder was on-loan at Arsenal last season and he won the Champions League, alongside Bale, in Real Madrid colours this term.
Whilst the one-time Arsenal man will continue his journey with Madrid, it’s the end of the road for Bale in Spain after a decade of drama, controversy, epic moments and trophies galore.
On Sunday, he helped Wales secure their place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar – the first time they have reached the world stage since 1958.
Bale posted on Instagram it’s a ‘dream come true’ that he will be going to the World Cup, with Ceballos posting in the comments section ’The best. Always with you.’
WHAT NEXT FOR BALE’S FUTURE AHEAD OF 2022 WORLD CUP?
Bale will need to find a new club for next season, with Tottenham a possible destination for the Welshman.
The last time Wales were heading to a major tournament – the delayed Euros last summer – he moved to Spurs in order to get minutes under his belt.
Many will point towards the same happening again, but what type of contract is Bale looking for?
There could even be the possibility that he wants his last dance to be in Wales colours, which means he’s not exactly going to sign the length of contract Spurs might want him to sign.
Either way, this does seem like the final page in Bale’s career because he has been one of the best, with his record speaking for itself.
