Reading picked up yet another win on Tuesday night, beating Blackburn Rovers 4-2 at Ewood Park.
Veljko Paunovic has made an unexpectedly great start to life at the Madejski Stadium, racking up seven wins from eight league games.
The Royals now sit top of the Championship table, and they showed off their attacking ability once again in last night’s 4-2 thumping of Blackburn.
Unsurprisingly, their great form is attracting interest, with the Reading Chronicle reporting that West Ham United want left back Omar Richards.
The Hammers should be in the market for another left back come January, so Richards – who is out of contract next summer – makes sense as a target.
The 22-year-old turned in an impressive display last night, and one stat should stick out if West Ham were tracking his performance.

Richards racked up an incredible six successful dribbles, showing just how talented he is with the ball at his feet and when faced with oncoming defenders.
Richards can get forward well, using that technical ability to good effect, and he was fouled three times as Blackburn struggled to deal with him.
That kind of attacking and technical play is very impressive for a full back, and should leave West Ham hugely impressed ahead of a possible January move.
