QPR fan Paul Moore is not best pleased at the FA’s decision to absolve Manchester City star Carlos Tevez of any recriminations from his clash with Joey Barton.
The FA has shown once againjust how inconsistent they are.
I’ve said this before that Joey Barton’s reaction was out of order; but the person that started it has got off scot free.
This is part of the statement from the FA;
“The commission accept that Mr. Barton was aggrieved by the action of Mr. Tevez and Mr. Dean confirmed that had the incident been seen by the officials as shown by the clip supplied by Mr. Barton, it would have been an automatic red card.
“The commission find that this does not, however, excuse the subsequent action by Mr. Barton in relations to messers Kompany and Aguero.”
So what they’re saying is, ‘It’s OK to start it but don’t get caught. If you do, don’t worry you’re not in trouble.’

The referee had told the enquiry that had he seen the first incident that Tevez had indeed struck Barton then he would have given him a red card.
My question is if they can ban Joey with video evidence then why not Tevez?
It’s inconsistent and that’s not right and then they wonder why fans lose their temper, and their faith in the system.
The problem is easily solved; the same rules for everyone including the teams at the top.
Either that or get someone to run the FA that actually know what they’re doing; at least that would be a start.
Should the FA have banned Tevez too?
