Jermain Defoe could be Rangers’ ace in the pack tonight.

Rangers will be looking for Jermain Defoe to help them get past Swiss side Young Boys in the Europa League tonight.
Defoe has not only experience of playing in Europe at club and international level, but he has done it against Young Boys before.
He played and scored against them for Tottenham Hotspur back in 2010.
His last visit away to the Swiss side was not so happy.
He was part of a Tottenham team which were stunned by a 3-2 defeat. Defoe was substituted after 66 minutes without scoring.
This left Spurs’ Champions League qualification hopes hanging in the balance.
Fortunately Defoe stepped up in the second leg, helping his side win 4-0 to reach the group stages, scoring the second goal to give his side the aggregate lead.
Nine years later he is ready to go again, this time for Rangers. It is up to him to prove he has still got it.
