In our opinion, Jamie O’Hara is being very harsh about Tottenham Hotspur right-back Emerson Royal.
Yes, the Brazil international has not been particularly great for Spurs, but he has been playing as a right wing-back when he is a right-back by trade.
It takes time for a player, especially someone as young as Emerson – he is only 23 – to adapt and understand a new role.
And let’s not forget that Emerson is a former Barcelona player, which means that he has quality and is rated highly in the footballing community.
