Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to footage of Alex Ferguson’s reaction to Manchester United being 5-0 down at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Moments after Mo Salah scored Liverpool’s fifth, the cameras panned to Sir Alex in the stands, with the Premier League legend expressing a sigh of frustration and a face of ‘what have I just seen?’.
What made matters even better for Liverpool fans is that pictures then showed Kenny Dalglish laughing away on another side of the ground.

It was perhaps an image summing up of what Manchester United fans would have felt, at that moment.
And what the Liverpool faithful would have been thinking, because it was an utterly dominant display from them.
Liverpool fans would have, no doubt, backed themselves to secure all three points before the weekend’s game.
But not many, if anyone, would have predicted Jurgen Klopp’s side to put in such a dominant and now historical performance.
This display and thrashing will be remembered for not just years, but decades to come.
And what makes matters worse, for those in Manchester, is if Liverpool now go on to win the Premier League title this season.
