Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media are far from happy after the Telegraph reported that they’re back at square one in their search for a new manager.
To be absolutely honest, we can understand the outrage from Spurs fans, it’s been almost two months since Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duties in north London, and they’re seemingly still no closer to appointing a new boss.
Antonio Conte seemed set for the job at one point, but talks broke down on that front, while it seems like it’ll be a difficult task to pry Mauricio Pochettino out of PSG.
Spurs are back to the drawing board, and if the search so far has been anything to go by, it may still be a number of weeks before we see a new manager appointed in north London.
As you can imagine, Spurs fans weren’t happy to hear this.
The club is currently directionless, it’s a ship without a captain and as long as the new gaffer isn’t sorted the issues at the club can’t be fixed.
We can only hope that Daniel Levy and his team can get their acts together and get a new manager in sooner rather than later.
