Alan Smith has praised Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on Sky Sports Premier League (3:16pm, February 26, 2023) for his goal against Graham Potter’s Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The former Arsenal star was hugely impressed by Kane and described the Tottenham and England international striker as “one of the best in the business of finding space at the far post”.
Smith was on co-commentary duty for the London derby between Tottenham and Chelsea on Sunday.
Tottenham won the Premier League game 2-0.
Oliver Skipp put Antonio Conte’s side in the lead in the first minute of the second half.
Kane secured the points with the second goal for Spurs on 82 minutes.
A corner was floated in, and Eric Dier knocked it down.
The ball fell to Kane at the far post, and the Tottenham striker just tapped it in.
It was Kane’s 268th goal for Tottenham.
Now, while the goal would seem easy to score, Sky Sports pundit Smith has noted how Kane had to make space for himself at the far post and create his own luck.
