Months after leaving Tottenham on a permanent basis, it seems as though Kyle Walker-Peters is now thriving in the colours of Southampton.
The Tottenham academy product helped the Saints record a 1-1 draw against Arsenal last night and their fans were impressed with the performance he put in.
A selection of Southampton fans believe they have got a seriously good deal out of Spurs and he is one of the best signings they have made.
Whilst Walker-Peters was on-loan at St Mary’s last season, it could be argued that he has been one of the signings of the summer given his recent permanent move.
But given that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg went in the other direction, the same could be said about him.
There aren’t many occasions when both parties benefit from such deals, but it seems to be the case here and a certain Daniel Levy deserves praise.
Saying that, would Spurs fans still prefer Walker-Peters over either Serge Aurier or Matt Doherty? Because as he proved at the Emirates last night, and according to the fans of his current club, he was immense and has been all season.
Whilst Tottenham got a top-quality signing in Hojbjerg, they have seemingly let go of one of their best talents.
But either way, judging by these Southampton supporters, those in North London will be pleased it’s going so well for Walker-Peters:
