Seamus Coleman says Micheal Keane is ‘one of our best finishers’ in training for Everton after his long-range effort against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.
After nearly having his ankle snapped by Lucas Moura, who was shown a straight red card, minutes later, Michael Keane stepped up to unleash a stunning effort from outside of the box.
That rescued a point for Sean Dyche’s side in their quest to survive, especially given that Harry Kane had put the home team ahead after Abdoulaye Doucoure’s own red card.

But it seems as though Keane’s strike, whilst it shocked many, shouldn’t really be that much of a surprise.
Practice makes perfect and it seems as though this is the norm from Keane in training, according to Coleman, as he told Premier League Productions (03/04/23 at 10:10 pm).
“We see that from Michael in training,” said Coleman. “I know it sounds like an unbelievable goal and a once-in-a-lifetime goal from him.
“But he probably is one of our best finishers in training. It was a great moment for him because he has had a tough season, not being in the team. He kept working hard, so well done to him.”

KEANE PROVING HIS WORTH
The former Burnley man has been on the sidelines for some while now, but he was provided with a lifeline by his former manager, Sean Dyche.
It meant that Conor Coady was benched, and whilst Keane has still had his issues when returning to the XI, he is getting better.
Everton’s away form needs to pick up, but if they are to stay up, then the Goodison Park will push them over the line, just like they did last season.
