Peter Schmeichel and Ruud Gullit have spoken highly about Liverpool and England midfielder Jordan Henderson and how you need a player of his ilk in your team.
The Manchester United legend stated that Henderson is ‘one of the best’ personalities in the England team amid their World Cup exit to France in Qatar.
Whilst Dutch legend Gullit thinks ‘good players thrive from players like Henderson’, who started both of England’s knock-out games.

At 32, this could be Henderson’s last-ever major tournament for the Three Lions, but with Euro 2024 less than 18 months away, then he will still be backing himself to reach that road.
Either way, the hard-hitting midfielder’s character and qualities were spoken about in a high manner by two footballing legends, as they told beIN SPORTS.
“You look at the England team, then you have Jordan Henderson out there, who is probably one of the best (personalities),” said Schmeichel.
“He drives players to do stuff – in these kind of games, where you talk about mistakes, where it’s usually a mistake or a little bit of a gap or something that’s the difference between winning and losing. Then that guy is so important and it can’t be underestimated how important to have him.
Gullit added: “The good players thrive from players like Henderson because he does the hard work.”

HENDERSON FINDS SOME FORM
After England’s World Cup exit, Henderson returns to domestic action having found some form on the international stage.
Against Senegal, when he linked up with a certain Jude Bellingham to open the scoring, he was outstanding and it would have pleased those on Merseyside.
Henderson’s form, prior to the World Cup, was headed towards the wrong direction, but he now returns in better form, with the Reds taking on Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
