Speaking on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel, Patrick Vieira has praised Jack Harrison, naming him as one of the best players he’s ever managed.
Vieira has been lucky enough to coach some of the greatest footballers of a generation, from Frank Lampard to Andrea Pirlo and even David Villa, but according to the Frenchman, Harrison was up there with the very best.
Vieira was Harrison’s gaffer during his time at New York City FC, and he says that even from a young age he could see the winger had the ability to be a Premier League star.
Vieira praises Jack Harrison
The Crystal Palace boss had good things to say about Harrison.
“Well, when I was at New York City, I worked with Frank Lampard, David Villa and Andrea Pirlo and they were fantastic players, it’s hard to compare them because they were the best of the best, but one of the best young players I worked with was Jack Harrison. When I was in New York, he was a young player coming through and you could see he had the ability to be where he is at the moment,” Vieira said.

Massive
This is huge praise to receive from a true footballing legend.
Vieira has played with some of the greatest footballers of all time, so he knows what an elite talent looks like, and for Harrison to receive this level of praise is massive.
The winger has been a bright spark for Leeds this season, but sadly, the Whites are still threatened with relegation.
If Leeds do end up going down, don’t be surprised if Palace have a look at Harrison as it’s clear that Vieira is a massive fan.
