The Arsenal academy product started for Blackpool as they secured a valuable 2-0 win over Doncaster to put them in a position where they are now three games away from England’s second-tier.
Whilst Arsenal struggle from a defensive standpoint in the Premier League this season, they will be pretty glad to hear that one of their own is thriving in the English football league.
Ballard has seemingly left an impression on the Blackpool supporters, who want the young gun signed up on a permanent basis.
Of course, Arsenal will have something else to say about that, but it’s a great sign for the club that their academy star is thriving.
