Clement Lenglet has paid a glowing tribute to Tottenham Hotspur teammate Hugo Lloris.
It is exactly 10 years to the day since Tottenham spent £12 million on signing the France goalkeeper from Lyon.
Since joining Spurs, Lloris has established himself as among the Premier League’s finest goalkeepers and has managed 420 appearances for the Lilywhites across all competitions.
Earlier this summer, Antonio Conte reunited the 35-year-old stopper with international teammate Lenglet, who joined the Lilywhites on loan from Barcelona.
And speaking to Tottenham’s official website, the centre-back lavished praise on the man himself.

He said: “Hugo is a legend of Tottenham and it’s a beautiful example for me to have him here. He’s the player with the second most caps in France, now so close to the first, Lilian Thuram.
“To all French people, he’s a legend because he’s a very good person, a very good professional, and an amazing goalkeeper. He is one of the best players in the history of the French national team.”
Lloris struggled during the end of Mauricio Pochettino’s reign but under Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Conte, he has been faultless for the most part.
The likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min get most of the plaudits in North London, but Lloris – also club captain – is equally as important as any Spurs player and no doubt he’ll continue to be this season and beyond.
