‘One of the best I’ve seen’: Some Everton fans wowed by one West Ham player yesterday

Everton fans were left wowed by Declan Rice’s performance during West Ham’s 1-0 win at Goodison Park on Sunday.

It was a monumental performance from David Moyes’s men, who despite not being at their absolute best, secured a vital three points against their European-chasing rivals.

One man that stood above many out on that Goodison Park turf was the fast-improving Rice.

Everton fans were seriously impressed by his performance and how far he has come since breaking onto the scene as a teenager.

It has been some rise for the England international, who was let go by Chelsea as a youngster, but he is probably now one of the best midfielders in Europe.

At Euro 2020, Rice was one of the best players at the tournament, he produced his best season in West Ham colours last term and now he has taken his game to another level during this campaign.

There is no stopping his steam train, with the 22-year-old adding the ability to drive with the ball to all parts of the pitch, run the game as a number eight and continually play those forward, yet hurtful passes.

After helping the Hammers secure Europa League football last season, the next stop will be trying to add a trophy to their cabinet and finishing in the Champions League places.

Under the guidance of David Moyes, and this current team, there is a serious chance that can happen, especially with the likes of Manchester United faltering.
