Micah Richards has lauded Liverpool transfer target Kylian Mbappe as ‘one of my favourite players to watch ever’ after his stunning goal for PSG against Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Ligue 1 champions had already qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, but just like Liverpool on Tuesday night, they were looking to top their group, but failed to do so, despite beating out-of-sorts Juventus 2-1 in Turin.
Just after ten minutes, Mbappe showcased why he is one of the best in the world when he nutmegged Federico Gatti when knocking the ball past him with a brilliant first touch, before putting midfielder Manuel Locatelli on the floor when cutting onto his right foot and then guiding the ball into the bottom corner from outside of the area.

It was a brilliant individual goal from the 23-year-old, who has 18 goals from 18 games in all competitions this season, including seven in the Champions League.
It wasn’t so long ago, there was talk that the France international wanted out of PSG because promises weren’t met, with Liverpool a possible target.
When the transfer window re-opens, both in January and then in the summer, it will be interesting to see what Mbappe will do, but in the meantime, Richards is loving what he is bringing to the table, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (02/11/22 at 10:30 pm).
“I just want to take time to analyse what we are seeing with this greatness,” said Richards. “Mbappe first megs him (Gatti), then takes his time to sit the other defender (Locatelli) down and whip it into the far corner.
“We are talking about a world, world-class player here. One of my favourite players ever to watch.”

WILL MBAPPE LEAVE PSG?
Every time the transfer window will open, there’s no doubt that Mbappe’s name will always hit the headlines.
From Real Madrid to possibly landing on the Premier League stage, there always seems to be drama following the World Cup winner, who signed a contract at Le Parc des Princes this summer.
One key thing to look out for is what PSG do in the Champions League, they cakewalk the Ligue 1 title, but it’s that all-important European trophy they are craving.
And in truth, without Mbappe, the French club’s chances of reaching that goal reduce massively.
