Newcastle United winger Kenedy has made an extremely slow start this season.

Kenedy has endured a rough start to the season at Newcastle United – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have rallied behind him to claim he deserves a start in the next game to prove himself.
The 22-year-old attacker re-joined the Magpies in the summer from Chelsea on loan, but has looked a shadow of the player he was during his stint at St James’ Park last season.
His campaign so far was summed up by a last-minute penalty miss in the 0-0 draw to Cardiff, which is the only game so far this season Rafael Benitez’s side haven’t lost.
Kenedy was dropped from the starting XI in the defeat to Arsenal last weekend, but some fans are convinced he should be recalled for the trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Brazilian is yet to register a goal or an assist so far this season, while he is failing to provide the same threat in the final third as he did in his first loan spell.
Newcastle are already lacking genuine goalscoring options in their side and there is pressure on the left-winger to chip in with a decent amount of goals, but Jacob Murphy got the nod ahead of him in the team against Arsenal.

Kenedy is certainly on thin ice with a lot of Newcastle fans right now, but all would surely be forgiven if he turns in a great display away to Palace.
