CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has said that Mauricio Pochettino would love to return to Tottenham Hotspur.
Jacobs has told TEAMtalk that Pochettino would “100%” walk back to Tottenham.
The journalist has added that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy himself would love to bring the Argentine back to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
During his first spell as Tottenham manager, Pochettino guided the North London club to the UEFA Champions League final in 2019.
The Argentine also made Tottenham regulars in the Premier League top four, and the team also challenged for the title on occasions.

Jacobs said: “Pochettino is still very interesting. Even though there’s debate and division within Tottenham as to whether it would be right to bring him back, Daniel Levy, in particular, would absolutely do it and Pochettino would 100% walk back to Spurs. However, there’s other voices and factors and considerations.
“There’ll be reservations there until he works out who his sporting director is, and whether or not he’s got Champions League football. And that, I think, is why a lot of these elite level names are waiting.
“It’s also why Tottenham themselves have put an interim in place. They know that the situation in terms of their recruitment will not be clear.”

The former Southampton boss knows the club inside out and is hugely popular among the fans.
His spell as Paris Saint-Germain boss would have also made Pochettino a better and more mature manager.
We believe that it would be a successful homecoming for Pochettino at Tottenham, who are still very much in the running for the Premier League top four this season and have some superb players such as Harry Kane.
