Marko Arnautovic joined West Ham United from Stoke City in the summer transfer window.
According to The Mirror, new West Ham United manager David Moyes could sell Marko Arnautovic in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Moyes, who recently replaced Slaven Bilic at the London Stadium, has been given the authority to sell any player he thinks is not suitable to his needs.
Arnautovic joined the Hammers from Stoke City in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The London Evening Standard to be worth £25 million.
Much was expected of the Austria international when he arrived at the London club, but the 28-year-old’s performances so far this season have been disappointing.
Arnautovic has yet to score or provide an assist in the Premier League and also been sent off on one occasion.
The major problem that West Ham could face in offloading the former Werder Bremen winger is that not many, if any, clubs would be willing to pay £25m for him.
The winger can be good when he is form, but his inconsistency is a major flaw in his game.
Arnautovic’s disappointing performances this season will surely have seen his value go down, and it is hard to envisage any club paying £20m or £25m for him in January.
