Leeds United attacker Samu Saiz impressed despite the club slipping to another loss.

Leeds United fell to yet another defeat last night, beaten at home by Derby County.
The Whites let a one goal lead slip as Derby striker Sam Winnall scored a second half brace to earn the Rams a 2-1 win.
It was a depressing night for Leeds with poor defending costing the club, but one player stood out for positive reasons.
That was Spanish attacker Samu Saiz, who was at the heart of everything positive for Leeds.
He set up Leeds’ first goal, netted by Pierre-Michel Lasogga, and would have ended up with more assists had it not been for the German’s poor finishing.

Leeds managed only one shot on target the whole match, but this was not a result of Saiz’s inefficiency on the ball.
The summer signing from Huesca created five goalscoring chances in the match, a figure he has only topped once all season, when he managed six in one game against Nottingham Forest.
His five chances created was more than the rest of the Leeds team combined (3).

The difficulty for Saiz has been that with just one fairly immobile striker up front in Lasogga, his options are limited, but he has still managed to produce at an outstanding rate.
One downside was his inability to test the goalkeeper himself, with Saiz’s one effort landing off target, and he arguably shout have attempted more efforts.
Saiz unlike the rest of the Leeds players, demonstrated a bit of fight, and quality.
The poor results mean there hasn’t been much hope for Leeds fans to cling onto lately, but Saiz is one player they can still get excited about.
