Everton are set to sign Morgan Schneiderlin – and Oumar Niasse looks set to join Hull City.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has told Four Four Two that Morgan Schneiderlin’s move to Everton is close – and Hull City boss Marco Silva also told Four Four Two that Everton’s Oumar Niasse could join the Tigers.
United hosted Hull in the first leg of their EFL Cup semi-final clash on Tuesday evening, with Mourinho’s men claiming a 2-0 win at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini.

That puts United in the ascendancy for a spot in the final, but much of the post-match discussion surrounded two transfers involving Everton.
Just before the game kicked off at Old Trafford, The Telegraph reported that United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin was set for a medical ahead of a £22million move to Everton, after the two clubs finally agreed a fee.

Schnederlin, 27, has played just 11 minutes of Premier League action over three substitute appearances this season, and the Frenchman is now set to reunite with his former Southampton boss Koeman at Goodison Park.
After the final whistle on Tuesday night, Mourinho told Four Four Two that United’s executive chairman Ed Woodward had told him that Schneiderlin was likely to join Everton, bringing an end to the questions over the midfielder’s future.
“[I have] no details but before the match I was informed by Mr Woodward that the situation is to close because Morgan is probably going to Everton,” said Mourinho.
Whilst Schneiderlin appears to be heading to Merseyside in the coming days, one player set to leave Goodison Park is striker Oumar Niasse, with a move to Hull seemingly on the cards.
Senegal international Niasse, 26, was a big-money signing for Everton last January having completed a move from Lokomotiv Moscow, but he appeared just seven times last season – and has been completely frozen out by Koeman this term.
After The Guardian reported that Hull have agreed a loan deal for Niasse, which will see them pay his £55,000-a-week wages in full as well as hold the chance to sign him permanently for £10million, new manager Marco Silva told Four Four Two that Niasse may even begin training with Hull soon.
“We’ll see. We’ll see when it’s possible for him to start training with us,” said Silva when asked about a move for Niasse, with Everton close to signing one player and letting one leave.
