Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers winning the title ahead of Celtic this season.

Celtic have failed to win against Dundee United this afternoon, meaning that Rangers have clinched the championship.

The Hoops have won the league title for the past nine seasons, but this time it is Rangers’ turn.

Former Celtic striker Sutton has praised Rangers and manager Gerrard for their achievement this season, but the Englishman has taken a swipe as well, as shown below.

Deserved success for Rangers

Celtic have been very poor this season, with Neil Lennon even stepping down.

Rangers have been superb throughout the campaign, and it is remarkable that the Gers are still unbeaten in the league.

Gerrard has been brilliant for Rangers since he was appointed the club’s manager in the summer of 2018.

The Liverpool legend’s success at Rangers this season is well deserved, and the fans should enjoy it.

It must not be forgotten that Rangers are still in the Europa League and could win that competition as well.
