The West Ham United striker has been linked with a move to Aston Villa.

West Ham striker Jordan Hugill is a loan target for Aston Villa this summer, according to a report from the Sun, and Hammers fans took to Twitter last night, delivering their verdict on the news.
The 26-year-old joined the Hammers from Preston North End on transfer deadline day in January, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £8 million, but he desperately failed to establish himself at the London Stadium, making just three substitute appearances.
Hugill proved during his time with Preston that he is an able bodied performer, but there are serious question marks hanging over his head regarding whether he is actually good enough to cut it in the Premier League.
A report from the Sun claims that Steve Bruce is keen to bring the striker to Villa Park on loan this summer, and there will surely not be too many West Ham fans who are disappointed to hear that news.

The Hammers seem to be a new club this season, judging by their transfer activity, and it would be incredibly surprising if Hugill featured in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans this season.
