West Ham face Arsenal on Wednesday evening, and while the Hammers would traditionally be underdogs for this fixture, they may well be coming into this one as favourites.

Indeed, David Moyes’ side have quite simply been better than Arsenal over the past 18 months, and in recent weeks victories against both Liverpool and Chelsea have proven that they know how to claim a big scalp.

However, West Ham’s gaffer needs to get his team selection spot on if his side are going to be victorious here, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Hammers’ starting XI for this one.

We think that David Moyes will make just one change from the side that drew with Burnley.

Pablo Fornals comes in for Manuel Lanzini, but other than that, it’s the same team we saw against Burnley over the weekend.

Unfortunately for the London club, the Hammers’ defensive injury crisis hasn’t been alleviated since their match against Burnley, so Issa Diop makes just his third league start of the season alongside Craig Dawson.

Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek start in the middle, while Michail Antonio will be hoping to end his Premier League goal drought here.

West Ham should provide Arsenal a stern test, and this could be another memorable game in what is shaping up to be a fantastic season for Moyes’ side.
