Speaking on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel, Rob Holding has been discussing the idea of potentially playing up front for the Gunners.
A centre-back by trade, Holding was asked how he’d get on if he played as a number nine in this Arsenal team on a weekly basis.
With his tongue firmly pressed into his cheek, Holding claimed that he’d net 20 for this side.
What’s been said?
Holding spoke about potentially playing up top.
“How many goals do you think you would score playing up front for 38 games in that current Arsenal side, playing every week,” Holding was asked.
“We’ll go with 20, 20 goal a season striker mate, my pricetag has just gone straight up!” Holding said.

How many?
Of course, Rob Holding would not score 20 goals in this Arsenal team if he started up front. He’s a centre-back for goodness sake.
However, we can’t help but wonder just how many a player like Holding would score if he was used as a number nine in this team.
This Arsenal team create chance after chance, and with the likes of Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka assisting you, there will be opportunities.
Holding obviously wouldn’t score 20, even the best strikers in the world struggle to reach that tally in some quality teams, but perhaps he’d come close to getting double figures if he played every minute of every game and was put on penalty duty.
