Harry Kane may not be scoring goals for Tottenham Hotspur at the moment, but he is creating chances for his teammates.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is struggling to score goals this season.

Everyone knows that. What is going unnoticed is how much he is helping his teammates in scoring.

Or at least he is trying to.

As the following Opta Stats table shows, the England international is the fourth-highest creative ‘forward’ in the Premier League so far this season.

The 22-year-old has created as many as 11 chances in eight league appearances, just three fewer than Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy, who has played more minutes than the Spurs youngster.

Chelsea’s Pedro and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling have created more chances than Kane, but they are attacking players who are expected to create chances.

This means that Kane is the second-best striker in the Premier League after Vardy in terms of creating chances.

That is certainly something to note, especially as the Englishman has improved in that area.
