What a difference a year makes?
A year ago today and Tottenham were sent crashing out of the Champions League after a defeat against Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
Harry Kane scored a penalty in the game but goals for Djibril Sidibe and Thomas Lemar sent Spurs packing at the group stage.
It marked the end of a difficult campaign in Europe for Spurs, who had struggled to adapt to playing their home games at Wembley Stadium.

Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco proved to be too hot to handle for Spurs and the Monaco result ended their Champions League run.
One year on and Spurs have won their Champions League group this term, which consisted of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund – not a bad turnaround.
Tripps tips
Young Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Walker-Peters was discussing the development of his near namesake Kyle Walker. Speaking to the Hertfordshire Mercury he explained how he felt Walker had become a better player, by taking tips from his right-back rival Kieran Trippier:
Kieran Trippier of Tottenham Hotspur comes on as a second half substitute for Kyle Walker
“I think Kieran came to the club as one of the best crossers in the Premier League and I believe Kyle’s crossing has improved a lot, so maybe he’s learned a thing or two from Trips there.”
Since then Walker has of course left Spurs, heading to Manchester City in a hunt for the Premier League title. Despite his good form at City not many Tottenham fans will feel they are worse off with Trippier in their side instead.
The two are now doing battle for the starting spot for England, with Nathaniel Clyne struggling with injury trouble.
