Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a point about how Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min played for Spurs against his side on Sunday, as quoted on the club’s official website.
Klopp’s Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw with Tottenham away from home at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
It was a very entertaining game and was full of drama and thrill.
After the game, Liverpool boss Klopp gave his take on the way Antonio Conte’s Tottenham played against the Reds.
And he was not particularly flattering in his verdict.
Jurgen Klopp on Tottenham duo Kane and Son
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “The challenge was today we play against Tottenham, who set up a 5-3-2 and when they won the ball deep in their own half, they just kicked it as far as possible and Kane and Son were on their bikes for it, so we struggled with these moments slightly.”

Deserved point for Tottenham
In our opinion, Tottenham deservedly picked up a point from the encounter against Liverpool.
Yes, the second goal from Spurs was due to a bad mistake from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.
But, on the balance of play, we think that the draw was a fair result.
Tottenham played well, and Conte showed that even with an inferior team, he can match Liverpool.
Now, of course, Liverpool had some key players missing.
Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Thiago did not feature, but even then, we have to praise Tottenham for the way they played and earned a point.
