Leeds United released the winger in 2017.

It was two years on Saturday that Billy Whitehouse made his only appearance for Leeds United.
The winger played 73 minutes, as a starter, as Leeds were embarrassed by non-league Sutton United in the FA Cup fourth round.
Released later that year, Whitehouse soon resurfaced at Tadcaster Albion, the Whites’ unofficial affiliates from North Yorkshire, and quickly began to rebuild his career.
Within months, Watford, of the English Premier League, were reportedly showing an interest, along with several other clubs in the country’s professional game [Football.London].

And it was claimed as recently as December 2018 that Neil Warnock’s Cardiff City, another top flight outfit, were in talks to add Whitehouse to their Under-23s [Wales Online].
But while his move to Cardiff never materialised, the 22-year-old is finally back in full-time football and is in Wales – having signed for The New Saints [TNS] on deadline day.
And he is not the only ex-Leeds player currently on the books of the reigning Welsh champions, who also employ the goalkeeper, Paul Harrison, and the midfielder, Tom Holland.
