Arsene Wenger has said on beIN SPORTS that Liverpool signing Darwin Nunez has not worked out for Jurgen Klopp’s side so far this season.
The former Arsenal manager made the comments while discussing the problems that Liverpool are facing at the moment.
Wenger has pointed out that Liverpool are missing Senegal international forward Sadio Mane, who left for Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman has noted that Nunez is really struggling, pointing out that he started for Liverpool against Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday on the substitutes’ bench.
The Premier League match ended in a 3-3 draw.
Uruguay international striker Nunez came on as a substitute for Spain international midfielder Thiago in the 89th minute.

The 23-year-old striker has scored one goal and provided one assist in four Premier League matches for Liverpool so far this season.
Liverpool paid Benfica a club-record fee of £85 million to sin the youngster in the summer transfer window (Sky Sports).
Nunez did start the season well for Liverpool, but the youngster was sent off and has really failed to do much of note since then.
